The assistant schedules the diaries of the GP and the practice assistants as efficiently as possible. By asking about your complaint, she can assess whether it is best to see the GP, the practice assistant or at the assistants' surgery. Sometimes an advice to you can be enough.<\/p>

When making an appointment, you can therefore expect the following questions:
1. How many topics would you like to discuss?
2. What are your symptoms (or what are you suffering from)?
3. How long have your symptoms existed (days, weeks, months or years)?
4. What have you tried yourself?
5. What is your request for help?

What is Practice Support Officer for General Practitioner Health Care?
A practice support worker (POH-GGZ) is a nurse who is an expert in the field of mental health. A POH-GGZ will discuss with you what symptoms you have and what you can do about them. If counselling is needed, the primary care assistant sometimes does this herself, but she may also decide with you to make a referral.<\/p>

What can the POH-GGZ do for you?
Clarifying your request for help;
Provide counselling or short-term treatment;
Giving education on complaints and mental health;
Advise which care can offer you the most relief and then refer you.
The starting point is that appropriate and effective help is used. Some people feel comfortable with conversations, others with help via the internet and yet others feel better through physical exertion. The practice counsellor discusses the options with you.<\/p>

How does the POH-GGZ work?
The practice support worker works under the responsibility of the GP. The GP and the POH-GGZ have regular consultations with each other. The POH-GGZ uses your GP's computer system so that both parties know what has been discussed with you. If you decide on a referral to another care provider\/institution, the POH-GGZ or the GP will provide a summary of your complaints and the reason for referral (the referral letter). Naturally, the POH-GGZ, like the GP, has a duty of confidentiality.<\/p>

Number of calls and costs
On average, an interview lasts 30 to 45 minutes. How many conversations you need depends on the nature and severity of your complaints. The care provided by the POH-GGZ is covered by general practitioner care. You therefore do not pay a personal contribution. To cancel or postpone appointments, please contact the doctor's assistant.<\/p>

The practice support staff in our practice are:
Fokje Genee, she works Tuesday afternoon and evening, Wednesday morning and on Friday (adult).
Ypie Osinga, she works on Tuesday afternoons and evenings (adults).

Evening consultation is an extra service and is intended for patients for whom it is difficult to come to the practice during the day. In principle, there is an evening surgery on Tuesdays after 5 pm. Due to circumstances, an evening consultation may be cancelled.<\/p>

An appointment for the evening consultation can be made every working day between 08:00 - 10:00, between 11:00 - 12:00 and between 13:30 - 16:00.<\/p>

During evening consultation hours, we are not available by phone and are not intended for emergencies. For urgent matters, please call the Doctors' Desk after 5pm.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>

Preferably, we receive you at the practice. There, there are more opportunities for examination. If you really cannot come to the practice, the doctor can visit you at home. The assistant will decide, together with the doctor, whether a home visit will be made. Home visits take place in the afternoon.<\/p>

You can request a home visit between 08.00 and 10.00 in the morning.<\/em><\/p><\/div>
