I was born in Wageningen and raised in Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, I completed my training as a doctor and then as a gynaecologist. I then settled with my family in IJlst in 2002. I still live there today with my husband and four daughters.

In 2010, I started training as a GP in Groningen. A step I do not regret to this day. As an ex-gynaecologist, I obviously have feeling and knowledge in the field of gynaecological complaints, but I love the variety in my work. It is also nice to “end up” in Workum, a beautiful little town with a fascinating population.

I have been working in Workum since July 2017. We are a nice team, trying to get to know everyone and provide the care that suits the person and the situation. Sometimes that is clear, sometimes it is searching. I like to do that together with you.
